Claire’s Nest® (Non-Folding Nest)

• Provides the optimal environment to contain and support the infant’s positioning, helping to facilitate normal physical development.
• Designed and manufactured to promote physiological stability and positively support neurodevelopmental outcomes.
• The baby is comfortably nestled within the nest, supported by two soft yet firm boundaries positioned around the body and head.
• Two (2) wide straps on either side of the nest are used to ensure security and help support the natural fetal posture typically assumed in the womb.
• After testing with wash cycles at 90°C, it is ideally recommended to wash at up to 70°C.
• The nests offer a safe environment for premature infants. Being born so early makes them vulnerable to external stimuli that may affect their development. These nests are used to simulate the safety of the womb and support their growth.
• It is the only available nest that provides complete surrounding boundaries.
• Once placed in the nest, the baby can move its arms and hands, allowing for hand-to-mouth contact and self-soothing, contributing to increased comfort.
• The nests are ready for immediate use, saving clinical staff time from having to create nests using towels and sheets.

Available in 4 sizes:

• Very Small: for babies < 900 g

• Small: for babies 800–1350 g

• Medium: for babies 1300–2250 g

• Large: for babies > 2250 g
