WILAflow Elite

Ventilators

Description:

A New Generation of nCPAP Ventilation for Neonates

The WILAflow Elite system is a non-invasive neonatal ventilator controlled by a microprocessor, offering the most advanced and diversified functions in non-invasive nasal ventilation, including apnea wake-up mode and automatic leak compensation.

Direct Pressure Adjustment
WILAflow Elite directly adjusts the pressure value for fully automatic pressure control.

Direct Oxygen Concentration Adjustment
WILAflow Elite uses electronic air/oxygen mixing technology with a simple button to accurately set the required oxygen concentration. It can automatically proportion oxygen and air flow. It is equipped with a high-precision flow sensor and a proportional valve that enable real-time feedback and oxygen concentration accuracy within ±3%.

Precise Oxygen Levels
WILAflow Elite provides accurate O₂ levels in positive pressure, helping to keep the alveoli open, thereby improving oxygenation as the neonate breathes spontaneously. The WILAflow CPAP system helps reduce imposed Work of Breathing (WOB) during both inhalation and exhalation.

Precise and Safe Delivery of Fresh Air via iFlow
The intelligent closed-loop control system (iFlow) is designed to protect even the most fragile patients. iFlow smartly adjusts fresh air flow and airway pressure in a closed loop. Real-time pressure monitoring (under the nose) and leak compensation enable stable pressure output. In the event of a leak, iFlow will compensate in real time to ensure stable positive airway pressure. It can compensate for leaks up to 25%, which is unmatched by traditional CPAP devices.

Safe Weaning Ventilation
WILAflow Elite includes SNIPPV/NIPPV, NCPAP, and HFNC modes for safe weaning ventilation.

WILAflow Elite – Specifically designed for non-invasive ventilation of premature infants or neonates predisposed to pulmonary disease.

Safe and Reliable
WILAflow Elite allows monitoring of proximal pressure without being affected by the mechanical "dead space" in the closed loop and its compatibility. The device accurately measures the patient's airway pressure. This is the most recognized method in the field.

Respiratory Abdominal Sensor (Optional)
The respiratory abdominal sensor allows clinicians to monitor for apnea/low respiratory rate in both nCPAP and BiPhasic modes. The components include a reusable transducer and a single-use abdominal sensor for one patient. In BiPhasic trigger mode, the abdominal sensor and transducer enable patient-triggered pressure support by monitoring the respiratory rate.

Heated Humidification is Recommended for nCPAP Therapy
The natural functions of the nose and air passages of the respiratory tract are to warm, humidify, and filter inhaled air before it reaches the lungs. In normal breathing, the nasal mucosa and upper airways provide 75% of the heat and humidity delivered to the smaller airways and alveoli. By the time air reaches the alveoli, it is heated to 37°C at 100% relative humidity (RH).
With nCPAP, the upper airways are not bypassed, but the high gas flow can dry out the airways, especially in the underdeveloped lungs of a neonate.
